The properties of our candles
La Belle Mèche Scented candles have several important properties and characteristics to know. For example, there is the weight. The more wax there is, the longer the candle will burn. At La Belle Mèche, all our scented candles contain 190g of vegetable wax, which allows a burning time of no less than 50 hours! It is also important to know the type of wax used, and whether the candle is certified CMR-free (carcinogenic components). Because a scented candle that smells good is good, but a candle that smells good and is good for the body and the planet is better!
The composition of our scented candles
Then we think about the composition of our scented candles. At La Belle Mèche, we wanted to offer a vegetable soy wax, without GMO. Our vegetal candles are also composed of a cotton wick and an original perfume, made in Grasse. We also offer Apothecary candles with essential oils, which do not contain any perfume and where the fragrance is composed only of essential oils.
The manufacturing process of our scented candles
Once the characteristics and composition of the candle have been chosen, the manufacturing process begins! In order to offer you the ideal scented candles, it is very important to respect a very strict manufacturing process, which guarantees quality. This is why, from the inspiration of the fragrance to the quality test, we entrust the manufacturing of our candles to a French wax craftsman. He carries out the various stages of the manufacturing process with a master's hand and creates for us our scented candles, with original and original scents.
